Francis Acuna- Director of Business Development and Hospitality Construction, nbj Architecture

Professional Overview:

Francis brought his expertise to nbj Architecture with a specialization in Hospitality, drawing from his rich 30-year background across diverse projects. 

His journey led him to contribute to high-rise buildings in Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia. 

Subsequently, he delved into Transit Architecture, and later Forensic Architecture in New York City. 

In 2019, he relocated to Florida, directing his focus towards Hospitality and Multi-family projects.

Currently, Francis stays active as either a Member, Director or Advocate for several worthwhile endeavors:

GRACRE Tenure:

7 months! Francis serves on the Hospitality and DEI committees and was appointed a GRACRE Ambassador in July 2025.

Meeting new people. 

Witnessing how the tense, uncomfortable ones become relaxed and engaging. Nurturing relationships built, and forming new ones.
